Kin & Keepsakes began with a book, or rather, several of them. Family books, fading photographs, and oral histories passed down through generations, sharing the lives and legacy of our ancestors. What started as a personal journey to preserve our family’s heritage became a calling to help others honour theirs too.

We came to realise that stories don’t just live in books, they live in objects we treasure. In the heirlooms we carry forward. A great grandmother’s lace dollies, a grandmother’s apron, a father’s pocket watch, or a baby’s christening gown, mementos passed down through generations that remind us of the stories of our kin. That insight lead to Kin & Keepsakes, a place for publishing family books that tell the family story of where we’ve come from, and a collection of thoughtfully created items inspired by legacy and love, created in honour of our heritage.
